Fall 2010 Season Starts in September! Red Leaf encourages pairing a group class with private study. Our students who do so consistantly show more improvement and get more enjoyment from their time at Red Leaf when private study is paired with the practical application a group class offers. Beginning Guitar Group Classes We can’t do anything about the leather pants and the tour bus, but we can get you started on a fulfilling musical journey on the guitar. Whether you want to strum along to your favorite songs or build the foundation to write or perform...it all starts with Red Leaf’s Beginning Guitar Group Class. We’ll cover the it all; tuning the guitar, basic strum patterns, chords, and song structures. 6 or 15 week class. Class Details - 6 weeks Day: Tuesday - Start Date: September 7th, 2010 Time: 7:00pm Instructor: Geno Stroia Price: $195 Class Details - 15 weeks Day: Wednesday - Start Date: September 8th, 2010 Time: 7:00 PM Instructor: Geno Stroia Price: $495 Group Classes (Adults, Teens, and Youth) Cost: prices are $495.00 for the 12-week season. Contact Red Leaf for more information! Adult, teen, and youth groups meet weekly. Each group is a 12 week course that culminates in a group performance at the end-of-semester show. Especially effective and fun when coupled with private lessons! Ask about special discounts when you sign up for both. Current Class Offerings: Youth and Teen Rock Bands: Students learn and develop skills on their particular instrument as well as learn to play in a group. Songs worked on throughout the season will be performed at the Red Leaf Rocks show at the end of the 12 weeks. Some experience with the students' choice of instrument is required. Adult Roots Rock Ensembles: Students learn and develop skills on their particular instrument as well as practice collaboration and playing in a group situation. Red Leaf Summer Camps! Register and reserve your spot early before they fill up Red Leaf Rocks Summer Band Camp 2010 July 12 - 29th, 2010 We’ll be putting on another awesome summer camp session in July, and we’d love to have as many as possible learning to rock with us. Red Leaf hones young rockers' musicianship and teamwork skills as they form groups and prepare songs for an end-of-camp concert. All styles of teaching are incorporated, from the by-ear approach to standard musical notation.
